Started in 1906 this is one of the most important cooperatives in Alto Adige representing over 400 small growers most of whom possess less than one hectare. For these farmers it is practically impossible to make wine from their own grapes and then to market it. The creation of the co-operative was an economic necessity for the area simultaneously offering farmers access to the knowledge of experienced cellar masters and the use of the technical infrastructures necessary for the production of high-quality wines.
